Educational Informatics (EI), in partnership with the VCU School of Education, invites you to attend a FREE workshop on assessment in K-12. Each workshop will include hands-on experience with VCU's performance assessment system, rGrade, for which EI will offer attendees a free, personal account.

K-12 Rubric Assessment Workshop

When: Saturday, May 1, 9 AM to 1 PM
Location: VCU School of Education

Attendees will receive hands-on training with the following:
  1. Standards-based rubric design using rGrade, the assessment system used by VCU.
  2. Rubric-based assessment with formative feedback and summative scoring.
  3. Creating "data dashboard" for assessment and student learning outcomes.
  4. Conducting field assessments of student teachers (if applicable).

Who should attend? K-12 teachers, school and district administrators, directors of curriculum, school technology personnel, and teacher educators.
