CapturedMatter is presently available for limited evaluation while we prepare for a full launch of version 1.1 in the Summer of 2007. Contact us for more information.
Use CapturedMatter to do the following:
- Build a web presence for a project
- Communicate with stakeholders with news items
- Capture data from participants and human subjects
- Discuss and annotate data, including digital
artifacts
- Manage project productivity based on project metadata
- Generate evaluation reports based on project metadata
- Run custom queries and export the data for more analysis
Build Matter. Projects can build and edit modules that are distinct data collection forms. Modules capture all types of data: points, checkbox / radio-button selections, short text, long narrative descriptions, uploaded files, URLs, date/time stamps, etc. As soon as the module is built, then project users can start entering data. Common modules include: A "To Do" list, document drop-box, meeting minutes, field-notes, and announcements/news.
Capture Matter. With its multiple user definitions and public/private views of information, CapturedMatter can be used as a "one-stop shop" for a research, educational, or any kind of project involving multiple people collaborating with content. The users use their pre-defined modules to collect, organize, reflect, and evaluate the data and work of their enterprise.
Relate Matter. A key feature of cM is the integration of MetaData across a project. A MetaData list is a set of items that a project tags to its captured entries. These items are used to build data-relationships across the project. Examples of MetaData are: A list of project initiatives, objectives, priorities, participants, etc.
Evaluate Matter. The real power of cM is the ability make sense of it all. Built into each project is an Evaluation tool that is used to generate meaningful reports across and within modules. cM allows project managers to to easily find all news items, meeting minutes and digital artifact entries related to a particular theme of the project.
